The event will be held among the idyllic islands of Fiji, uniting the superyacht community in the tropical waters of the South Seas. It is set to become an annual occasion in the superyacht calendar.
Designed for a multi-generational group of international and local yachties, the event program will feature barefoot beach parties interspersed with friendly regattas for sailing and motor yachts measuring over 22 metres.
The racecourse will weave through the volcanic archipelago of the Mamanuca Islands, exploring the iconic setting of Robert Zemeckis’ Hollywood film Cast Away.
Taking place one month after the 2024 Olympic surf competition in Tahiti, the South Pacific Superyacht Rendezvous invites owners, friends, crew, and industry experts to cast off and voyage to Fiji for a further taste of the Southern Hemisphere.
“The Superyacht Gathering is all about building a strong community of owners and industry professionals in the South Pacific,” explained founder Linda Berry. “Together, we are working towards luring superyachts away from traditional cruising areas so that they can discover what this stunning region has to offer.”
