The Sydney International Boat Show will take place at the ICC and Darling Harbour, Sydney
From THURSDAY 30th JULY TO MONDAY 3rd AUGUST 2020
The Sydney International Boat Show in 2020 is held at Darling Harbour. The undercover displays will be located within the vast International Convention Centre – Sydney, and the spectacular marina displays only minutes away on Cockle Bay. It is the largest recreational marine event in the southern hemisphere.
It first ran in 1968 and since then has played host to over three million visitors who arrive to be entertained, educated and inspired by this wonderful pastime enjoyed by millions each year.
More than 220 exhibitors across two venues, more than 145 boats on the purpose built marina, more than 700 boats in the halls, 24,800 square metres (266,900 square feet) of undercover hall space, full of exhibits.
51 Shows, but the one organiser throughout this time has been the Boating Industry Association (BIA).
The BIA is the voice of the recreational and light commercial marine industry. On behalf of its members, it promotes safe, recreational boating as a positive and rewarding lifestyle for Australians.
Members get Australians onto the water, through the manufacture, wholesale or retail of products and services to the recreational boating consumer, and light commercial marine operators.
Apart from organising great shows, the BIA provides a forum to discuss industry needs, problems and solutions and serves as the representative of the industry to Federal, State and Local Government departments and agencies, as well as other industry bodies, corporate interests, allied organisations, media and the public.
