As the only 115 Sunseeker Sport Yacht available for commercial charter in Australia, SETTLEMENT has selected Ocean Alliance as their Central Agent to market this yacht to the increasing number of local and international guests seeking a yachting experience in Australia and the South Pacific.

Launched in 2015, SETTLEMENT is one of the newest superyachts imported into Australia to be placed on the country’s blossoming charter market.  Her Owner has kept the yacht in the immaculate condition of her launch just three years ago and the yacht is hoping to capture the adventure-orientated, younger charter market with an impressive array of toys and tenders.

Charter guests will have access to a large dive equipment inventory, including compressor and new dive gear. For the less adventurous, the Owner has installed surface supplied diving equipment (or hooka lines) allowing experiences down to 10 metres. Additionally, the yacht houses seabobs, SeaDoo jet skis, a 5m Williams Jet tender plus extensive fishing equipment, stand up paddle boards, inflatable water toys and the option for carrying surf boards.  All of which is accessible through the expansive beach club complete with BBQ, rainwater shower and sunshade. Whilst visiting the Great Barrier Reef, SETTLEMENT’s custom-built 6m x 3m inflatable airdeck will support up to 12 guests and the watersports or beach setups, allowing children and adults to swim directly into the water.

The yacht has a thoroughly modern feel and it is crewed by a young and vibrant team of five at the helm of which is Rhys Boehm.  “There has been a lot of preparation to get this yacht ready for charter and we have an exciting itinerary ahead of us.  Most of 2019 will be spent in the South Pacific taking in the established destinations of Fiji and Vanuatu as well as more remote and emerging charter cruising grounds such as Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.  It is a program which will appeal to those seeking the undiscovered,” explained Captain Boehm.

SETTLEMENT’s interior is finished with black American walnut panelling and has five cabins, all with ensuites and personalised entertainment units, accommodating 10 guests. A great feature is the ability to convert her large Double Cabins into Twin Beds, welcoming more couples on board. Upstairs, the main saloon is surrounded by expanses of glass which slide away to reveal port and starboard balconies to augment the space.

The aft deck has the flexibility to be protected by a retractable sunshade for either cocktails from the wet bar on the main deck, al fresco dining for 10 or viewing the activities of the beach club below. Meanwhile, the sundeck includes a jacuzzi which is surrounded by sun lounges and set behind a flybridge helm, and the alfresco area is serviced by a central bar. The roll-out canopy ensures access in any weather.

“This superyacht brings a new element to the current fleet; one which we anticipate will be very popular with a younger, active charter client.  The crew is as dynamic as the yacht and the itinerary energetic and adventurous.  She is offered at AUD$125,000 per week on the east coast of Australia and South Pacific under MYBA terms.  Like many of the chartering superyachts in Australia, SETTLEMENT will consider charters of a smaller duration for adventurous mini breaks”, continued Ocean Alliance’s managing director, Mr Joachim Howard.

SETTLMENT is the latest yacht to have selected Ocean Alliance as their Central Agent.  Ocean Alliance is a leading MYBA accredited charter brokerage house in Australia.  The team has great expertise in Australian and South Pacific destinations and has seen a large increase in local and international charter clients selecting the region and its growing fleet of resident yachts.
