Brisbane Economic Development Agency (BEDA) is the city’s engine for driving sustainable economic growth. As Brisbane’s champion, BEDA works closely with government and private sector organisations to enhance and promote the city’s reputation globally, drive visitation, and attract investment and talent.

The agency drives investment demand for the city, supporting potential domestic and international investors with full market entry and expansion strategies, and supports new and established local businesses to grow through the Brisbane Business Hub.

BEDA is the city’s official Convention Bureau, securing and supporting conferences and incentives as well as attracting and supporting the delivery of major events from cultural festivals to international sporting events.

The agency also operates as the regional tourism organisation for Brisbane and seven surrounding regions.
