Demystifying Free Trade Agreements: What’s In It For Me?

Seminar dates and booking details:

Do you want to know if you can reduce costs and increase profits through use of Free Trade Agreements?

AIMEX is presenting new training and tools to the marine sector SME’s about how to access, use and benefit from FTA’s. Nine seminars will be delivered across 7 states including regional areas of Australia .

Focusing on the current markets of China and Korea, SME’s will learn what it all really means for their bottom line. Only a handful of developed countries have an FTA with China, so Australian companies are poised for some real financial advantages.

Be one of the early adopters of FTA’s and increase your global competitiveness as Australian marine manufacturers capture the benefits of China’s ongoing economic reforms.

The marine sector is currently in a “perfect storm” for exporters – favourable exchange rate, good global demand, Australian reputation for innovation and quality marine products is attracting sales. The information these seminars offers will allow the Australian marine industry SME’s to further increase their competitiveness through the use of FTA’s and will definitely increase export sales and achieve the jobs growth.

Specialist legal advisory firm Hunt & Hunt will be delivering marine industry specific information for AIMEX across Australia. Topics included in the training about

  • Rules of origin,
  • product specific rules;
  • changes in chapter;
  • certificates of origin and
  • non-trade barriers
