This show runs from the 8th – 14th February 2016 in and around the Ao Po Grand Marina.
With Thailand’s close proximity to Asia, Superyacht Australia sees it as important to continue to develop relationships, alliances and collaborations with companies in this part of the world, especially now with the opening up of Thailand to charter vessels.
Activities will range from recreational sailing, paddle boarding, watersports right through to in-depth industry conferences. Tours of significant marine and tourism infrastructure will also be conducted to familiarise international brokers on the possibilities in Phuket and broader Thailand. Another important element of the week will be the social and networking events which will bring together industry and clients to ignite new relationships in a convivial atmosphere.
Already well known to superyacht owners for its superb cruising grounds, Phuket is strategically located for yachts coming from the Mediterranean to visit South East Asia and the Pacific beyond. It is considered the main infrastructural ‘hub’ for large yachts cruising the region, with over 100 superyacht berths available between the Ao Po Grand Marina and Phuket Yacht Haven alone.
This show is recommended for those targeting the Asian Market. Superyacht Australia is looking at this show and Austrade is keen to support it with a networking event if enough Australian companies are interested. Following the success of last year’s event, Superyacht Australia will again play host to a high profile networking event in Tahiti on 24 June 2016.
The event aims to host superyacht captains, crew and owners at an Australian themed networking event increasing awareness of Australia’s superyacht facilities, products, services and cruising grounds to ultimately increase visitation.
The event will be informative regarding Australia’s facilities, services, cruising and tourism. Our aim is to ensure this event is unforgettable, ensuring Australia is on the map and considered as a superyachts next destination.
Information regarding the event format will be released in the upcoming months. For any inquiries please don’t hesitate to contact Emily Simpson – email@example.com
